A Break From Baking: Crockpot Chicken Alfredo

My favorite season is Autumn, the leaves, the weather, the crisp feeling in the air… and of course, the warm food! A crockpot is the best tool to have in the cooler months. What’s better than quick, easy and delicious meals?
I decided to go with a nice chicken alfredo dish. I’ve made this for dinner a couple times and it has yet to disappoint! Keep in mind that I don’t measure the spices that I toss into the crockpot, I just do what looks right to me. 🙂

Ingredients
• 2 Boneless, skinless chicken boobs
• 1 (8oz) package of cream cheese
• 2 (10oz) cans of cream of chicken soup
• Salt
• Pepper
• Thyme
• Garlic powder
• Basil
• Spaghetti

Make sure you clean your chicken and cut any extra fat if necessary.
So low low low
Place all of the above ingredients into the crockpot and cook on low heat for about 7 hours.
All the goodies
When it’s almost ready, cook your spaghetti or pasta of choice as directed on the box.
Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred with a fork.
Place the desired amount of chicken on top of your warm spaghetti and use the sauce in the crockpot to top it all off.
Eat!
Serve with bread and/or a fresh salad! Enjoy!
